Woman intercepted with 10 kilos of heroin in train between Rotterdam and Brussels

Police intercepted a woman on Friday in a train going between Rotterdam and Brussels. Aged 48, she was in possession of 10 kilos of heroin. The woman has been taken to Brussels public prosecution. The train between Rotterdam and Brussels is known for frequent drug trafficking and increased controls are carried out by police.

On Friday, police agents were struck by the very nervous behavior of the passenger. In her luggage, they found several heroin packages, weighing around 10 kilos. The woman pretended that she had been convinced by others that the luggage contained a manioc flower and that she had to bring it to Luxemburg. The police and prosecutor were not too convinced by her story.
