On Tuesday, three men from Liège aged 40 to 70 years old were sentenced by the Liège court of appeal for their illegal activities operating a sadomasochist dungeon. An underage girl was recruited for activities similar to prostitution. Sentences ranging from 8 to 12 months suspended were handed down to the clients and owner. The events took place in “l’Antre du Diable” (The Devils Temple) in Vivegnis (Liège). The fans of this sexual practice took part in sessions organised on average four times a month. You had to get permission to take part and fans could submit to extreme behaviour.
In 2009, a young woman of 17 acted out her fantasies there and was used as bait to attract clients for certain sessions. Advertising was used to attract people to this “queen of domination”. This young woman, acting as “Lucifer”, was at the centre of a sexual initiation ceremony.
The accused were acquitted at first. But the court changed its mind and stated it was aware they had recruited an underage girl to take part in regular paid sadomasochist sessions.
The magistrates also considered that the lewd and immoral acts committed in the dungeon correspond to those of a prostitution operation. The accused tolerated these activities, involving a minor, and even took part.
The owner was sentenced to 12 months in prison suspended and a fine of 1,100 euros. Two fans linked to the activities received 10 months and 8 months in prison suspended and fines.
