Several of the security measures put in place due to the terrorist threat level being raised will be “very visible and noticeable in the street”. The threat level has been raised from two to three for the whole country. This is according to the spokesman for Ocam, the Organization for threat analysis coordination. “Security measures have been put in place in police stations all over the country, as well as judicial buildings in Brussels”, he said.
Ocam does not want to go into detail about other institutions or buildings.
On Friday evening, Ocam raised the threat level to three out of four for the whole of Belgium.
