The Paris attacks, which left 129 dead and 350 wounded, "have been plotted from Syria", "prepared and organized in Belgium" and "committed on our grounds with French complicity", declared François Hollande. As the French President spoke in front of the Parliament during a special meeting in the Palace of Versailles, he called on the French to "perseverance, unity, lucidity and dignity" after these "acts of war" that made victims of 19 different nationalities, including three Belgians.
