Delhaize is asking customers to check use-by dates for chicken thighs and chicken breast fillets for its brand. The company is indicating this today (Thursday) in a communiqué. There is an error on the use-by dates which appear on the labelling of these particular products.
The products affected carry a use-by date label of May 18th, 2017. The correct use-by date is actually April 18th, 2017.
Meanwhile Delhaize has withdrawn these products but is asking that, if customers have already purchased them, such products are not consumed after April 18th, 2017.
