The Belgian Prime Minister has expressed his support to the UK where 22 people have lost their lives so far in an explosion at one of the exists in Manchester Arena. Pop artists Ariana Grande was holding a concert at the time and is known to be especially popular amongst young children and teenagers.
“All my thoughts go to the victims in Manchester and I express the Belgian support to the United Kingdom”, reacted Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel on Tuesday morning in a message on the social network Twitter.
The American singer Ariana Grande, 23 years of age, was quickly declared safe and sound. She said she was “broken” by the explosion and “from the bottom of her heart, so so sorry”.
The singer was expected to come to Belgium on Sunday and perform in Antwerp as part of her tour “Dangerous Woman”. The tour has now been suspended in Europe following Monday night’s events in Manchester.
