Trump leaves United States Embassy to visit European Quarter
Trump’s cortège to the European Quarter today (Thursday) managed to assume presidential grandeur, without attracting the crowds.

The American President, Donald Trump, left the United States Embassy this morning (Thursday), having spent the night there. He visited the European Quarter. An impressive police presence, once again, oversaw the movement of the so-called “Potus” (the President of the United States and his cortège).

A federal police helicopter thus escorted “The Beast”, the presidential limousine. The President arrived at the Europa building (the seat of the European Council and Council the of the EU) shortly after 10 a.m.

A point worthy of note is that, in comparison with President Obama’s visit in 2014, there were very few people curious to try to get a glimpse of Donald Trump on his journey.

Mr Trump was welcomed at the Europa building by the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, and the European Commission President, Jean-Claude Juncker. This is the first meeting between Donald Trump and the main European Union leaders.

A point worthy of note is that Trump had, during his electoral campaign, implicitly desired the disintegration of the European Union.
