The Green party wants to introduce practical tests on the housing and job markets to step up the fight against discrimination, its President Meyrem Almaci said during her New Year’s reception in Antwerp on Saturday. The Flemish Green party also wants more investment in education.
More than 1,000 members were at the event. Meyrem Almaci wants new policies to be three things: “more human, fair and healthier”. The party also wants to fight discrimination, improve Flemish education and make Flanders a low emission zone.
The President also celebrated the fact that the Green party has over 10,000 members for the first time in its entire history.
