Despite variable weather, between 250,000 and 300,000 overnight tourists visited the coast during the past Easter weekend, the Westtoer provincial agency reported. According to Westtoer, hotels showed an occupancy rate of over 90%. If weather forecasts are confirmed, the coast could record its first big weekend of 2018 at the end of this week, as last-minute bookings have been multiplying in recent years whenever good weather is expected. Mild weather is expected this weekend and should last until Sunday, with temperatures reaching 20 degrees.
