Fifteenth case of swine fever among boars confirmed

A fifteenth case of wild boars dying from African swine fever was confirmed on Tuesday, according to the Office of Wallonia’s Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Forests, René Collin, which confirmed reports to that effect by L’Avenir. The corpse of the boar was found in Buzenol, a locality in the infected zone. The results of the tests done on the body were sent to the minister’s office by the Wildlife Health Monitoring Network.

The corpses of other boars were in the process of being tested.
