Due to damage to overhead power lines at the French-Belgian border in the early afternoon, rail traffic is completely interrupted between Belgium and France, reports Infrabel, infrastructure manager.

A technical problem is presumed to be the origin of the damage. Trains to France via Mouscron, Tournai and Esplechin have therefore limited to these stations rather than continuing towards the border since around 14h00, Infrabel reports. It is not currently known how long the interruption will last.
