On the weekend of July 27 and 28 metro traffic between Yser and Elisabeth will be suspended to allow work on a Brussels tunnel.
The work on the Leopold II road tunnel, operated by Brussels Mobility, aims in particular to install new emergency exits.
On the weekend of July 27 and 28, the works will be carried out over the metro tunnel and will require the interruption of metro traffic between Yser and Elisabeth, STIB said in a statement. The transport operator will take the opportunity to carry out signalling work at the Elisabeth Station.
Buses will travel between the two stations. Bus lines 13 and 87 will also be extended to Yser station on Saturday and Sunday.
