A woman aged 40 was arrested Monday afternoon in the context of brawls which took place Sunday at Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, stated Tuesday the Brussels Prosecutor’s Office, which initiated mediation for her since she presumably incited the youth to riot. The 22-year-old man who had thrown stones at and injured a police officer was also arrested Monday. He will be referred to the examining judge Tuesday afternoon. He admitted having injured the agent, but contested having done it with a stone.
