An extensive speed check operation on Belgian roads will take place next Wednesday as part of a European “Speed Marathon”, the Federal Police announced on Sunday. During a previous operation of this magnitude in October 2018, 27,877 cases of speeding were recorded in the country, against 33,500 in April that same year.
The 11th “speed marathon” will begin at 6 am Wednesday and will last 24 hours. Further detail will be communicated on Tuesday, the Poice said.
