A 66-year old man rescued from a canal in Yser early on Monday morning has died in hospital, according to reports. The man was resuscitated by the local emergency services on the scene and taken to the hospital but died shortly after admission, reports BX1.
The police were called to the scene at around 8:20 am after reports of a body in the water. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
