Sale of new motorbikes and scooters increased by 4.25% during the first six months of 2015, reaching 14,374 vehicles, De Zondag and Het Nieuwsblad op Zondag reported on Sunday. This increase is partly explained by the good weather we had in June. Sales had been going down since 2008, but went up last year. An increase of 1.88% was recorded in 2014.
The good weather in June 2015 meant sales went up by 25% compared to the same period the year before.
