Milan, Amsterdam and Copenhagen in contention to host the European Medicines Agency

Following the first cast of votes, Milan, Amsterdam and Copenhagen are still in the run to host the European Medicines Agency, currently based in London. Brussels, which was also a candidate is not voted to the second round of voting.  The Italian, Dutch and Danish cities went ahead on Monday in the first round of voting at the General Affairs Council. Earlier in the day, Ireland, Malta and Croatia withdrew their candidate cities.

The ministers will now go on to a second voting run.
