Although Thanksgiving is a traditional American holiday, the turkey-themed celebrations have found their way into the Belgian capital.
Whether you are looking to find a piece of home in Belgium or just trying to embrace a new tradition, Brussels' offers a few delicious options to commemorate today's holiday.
Beer and Culinary fusion

Three local American-owned businesses have teamed up this year to bring Thanksgiving to the capital. Adequately located on Rue Américaine in Ixelles, 'Chez-Wawa' will offer a three-course menu featuring Cali-Mex dishes with a Thanksgiving twist. Craft beers will also be included in the menu, courtesy of 'Tipsy Tribe', as well as classic sweet American treats from 'Eat Dessert First by Laura'.
Prices are set at €68 per adult and €33 for children between 5 and 12 years old. More information about the menu and reservations can be found online.
Family-Style Feast

Those on the look out for family-style festivities can join the American Club Brussels (ACB) for its annual Thanksgiving feast at the Marriott Hôtel Grand Place. The four-course meal will feature whole Turkeys ready to be carved and served at tables for ten, bringing in that family experience to the meal.
ACB members can join the Thanksgiving meal for €87, while the meal for non-members is set at €92. More information can be found here.
Rockin' Meal

The Hard Rock Café is back with its annual Thanksgiving meal. Between 12:00 and 22:00, customers can enjoy a two-course menu, featuring a traditional turkey dish as a main and the classic pumpkin pie for dessert. From 19:00, there will be live music to guarantee a true rockin' Thanksgiving experience.
Adult meals are priced at €32.70 while the children's menu is set at €16. More details about reservations and the menu can be found online.
Drink & Debate: Trump's re-election
For those interested in engaging with American affairs post-Thanksgiving, The Brussels Times will be hosting a debate with business and trade experts about what Trump's re-election means for Belgium and the rest of Europe.
Moderated by the Editor in Chief, Philip Herd, the event will also offer an opportunity for a Q&A with the audience as well as time to network and mingle.
The session will take place on 4 December, between 18:00 and 22:00 at Silversquare Baillie on Avenue Louise. An open bar will be available all evening.
