Enghien Castle will host the 33rd edition of the Rencontres Musicales Internationales d'Enghien (IMUSE - International Musical Encounters of Enghien) from 16 to 23 August, organisers announced on Monday.
The event will feature eight days of musical performances, including concerts and public master classes at which young musicians from various nationalities can refine their art.
Under the artistic direction of Olivier Roberti, the festival will once again bring together a host of talented artists, such as violinists Philippe Graffin and Lisa Jacobs, pianist Valentina Igoshina, and cellist Justus Grimm.
The opening concert, scheduled for Saturday 16 August at 8 pm, will showcase works by Chausson, Bartók, and Milhaud.
The programme will also include a children’s concert on 19 August, a session dedicated to visually impaired individuals in collaboration with the Friends of the Blind, and several recitals and chamber music concerts leading up to the closing concert on Saturday 23 August.
