Stromae has cancelled all of the concerts of his European tour until the end of May for medical reasons. 15 shows in all have been cancelled, including appearances in the European capitals of Berlin, London and Rome.

The singer apologised to his fans on social media, stating that “I need to take the time to get better” after "coming to the realisation” that his health did not allow him to go on with the tour as planned. “I have to admit my limits,” Stromae concluded.

The tour, where he was set to perform songs from his latest album Multitude to European fans, had already been marred by health issues after Stromae cancelled three shows in the French city of Nantes for the same reasons.

The singer has never shied away from his health issues, particularly his mental health. He went on a long hiatus after the release of his second album Racine carrée after the subsequent tour led him to burnout.
