Weather conditions are expected to be unstable with scattered showers, potentially turning thundery primarily in the east, according to Monday’s forecast from the Royal Meteorological Institute.
During the afternoon, larger clear spells will gradually appear from the coast towards the centre of the country.
The maximum temperatures will range from 19 to 27°C.
The sky will be partly to very cloudy with showers occurring in several parts of the country; these could be locally intense and thundery, mainly in the eastern areas.
By the afternoon, following any remaining drizzle, the weather is likely to become generally dry from the coast to the centre, with increasingly extensive sunny spells.
Maximum temperatures will range between 19 and 23°C in the Ardennes and along the coast, and between 24 and 26, possibly reaching 27°C elsewhere.
The wind will mostly be moderate, coming from the west to south-west; however, it will become fairly strong to strong along the coast in the afternoon with gusts potentially reaching 40 to 60 km/h, or slightly more during a heavy shower.
