The weather will be variable to very cloudy on Wednesday, with showers particularly near the Dutch and German borders according to the Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI).
Belgium's weather forecast institute also expects some morning rain in the Ardenne highlands and forecasts maximum temperatures between 18 and 23°C.
In the morning, skies will be partly to very cloudy with light rain south of the Sambre and Meuse valley and a few showers from the centre to the north of the country.
In the afternoon, clearer spells will gradually expand from the coast, but showers will persist, especially towards the German and Dutch borders.
Temperatures will range from 18 or 19°C in the Ardenne to 21 to 23°C in the central areas. The west-southwest wind will shift to west-northwest and be moderate, remaining fairly strong at the coast in the morning.
