A four-year-old child was hospitalised following a fall in an H&M store on Brussels' Rue Neuve.
The child fell from the escalators at Rue Neuve's H&M store from the ground floor to the -1 level on Monday at 15:15, police told Belga News Agency.
He was taken to a hospital and his life is said to be in danger. His mother has also been admitted to the hospital in a state of shock.

The police evacuated the store and formed a security perimeter, which was shortly lifted before 17:00.
This is not the first time something an incident like this has happened at the store; 12 years ago, a four-year-old girl fell from the escalators where she was thankfully caught by another customer.
