Customs seized 372 kg of cocaine during a check in the port of Antwerp, announced the Federal Public Finance Service on Wednesday.
The drugs were found on Wednesday 3 August, hidden in a shipment of sugar that came from Brazil, but the bust was only announced now.
“The cocaine was hidden in an atypical way, loose in bags of sugar,” FPS Finance spokesperson Francis Adyns told reporters.
