A man was stabbed on the Grote Markt in Antwerp early on Sunday morning. The police were able to arrest two suspects.
The victim was hit in the abdominal area, but his injuries were not life-threatening, the police told Belga News Agency.
The reason for the stabbing is still under investigation. The events took place around 05:00 on Sunday.
The perpetrators then fled on foot, but the police were able to arrest two suspects in the nearby Reyndersstraat with the help of camera footage. They will be interrogated, as will some witnesses.
The victim is a 32-year-old man. The suspects are 18 and 22 years old.
