A Delitraiteur store along the Brussels highway in Waterloo was hit by armed robbers on Sunday evening, the Office of the Public Prosecutor (OPP) in Walloon Brabant reported on Monday.
Two individuals dressed in black, wearing caps and armed with a rifle and stun gun stormed into the food store. A customer and two staff members were present in the store at the time.
Brandishing their weapons, the robbers forced the cashier to hand over the contents of the till, then made off on foot with their loot.
The OPP did not immediately disclose the amount of money stolen.
