Construction works will commence on the E314 between Holsbeek and the Vunt complex towards Leuven and Brussels from 20:00 on Friday.
As a consequence, traffic will be reduced to a single lane until Saturday evening, according to the Flemish Agency for Roads and Traffic (Agentschap Wegen en Verkeer).
The Wilsele exit will remain closed for the duration of the works.
The repairs aim to renovate the top layer of the roadway’s asphalt. Tests indeed revealed that the road surface no longer met quality requirements following refurbishments carried out last year.
