A 63-year-old man was killed in a traffic accident on Saturday afternoon in Bruges, according to the West Flanders Public Prosecutor's Office.
The collision occurred around 15:30 on Arthur Vierendeelweg street in Bruges. It involved a head-on collision between two vehicles.
The two occupants of one vehicle, a 32-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital. The driver of the other vehicle, a 63-year-old man, died at the scene from his injuries.
A traffic expert has been appointed to investigate the incident.
