American television icon Oprah Winfrey will attend the Antwerp technology and innovation festival SuperNova, scheduled for the end of March, the organisers announced on Tuesday.
Winfrey will be welcomed on Sunday, 23 March, at the Studio 100 Pop-Up Theater in Puurs, Antwerp province, a few days before the festival begins.
On the same day, triple Olympic heptathlon champion Nafi Thiam will also make an appearance. The Belgian athlete will share her sports experiences.
The SuperNova festival, which brings together investors and start-ups, will take place on 27 and 28 March in Antwerp.
"World-class speakers" from organisations such as NASA and AirBnb are expected to attend.
Prominent entrepreneurs like Marc Coucke and Daan De Wever, CEO of the Dstny group, will also be present.
