Train services between Antwerp and Essen were halted in both directions from 6:20 am on Saturday due to a person being struck in Kapellen, announced railway network manager Infrabel.
The services resumed shortly after, but more investigation is to be expected about the case.
SNCB has arranged bus shuttles between Kapellen and Essen for the time being.
