French President Macron tests positive for Coronavirus

French President Emmanuel Macron has tested positive for coronavirus, and will now go into isolations, according to reports in local media.

The Head of State “will isolate himself for 7 days” but “will continue to work and ensure his activities remotely”, the presidency explained in a press release.

Macron’s diagnosis was established following an RT-PCR test after he started displaying symptoms.
