Railway works are set to be carried out between Melle and Wetteren (line 50) over the next three weekends. The infrastructure manager, Infrabel, will renew tracks, railway sleepers, and track ballast.
At Kwatrecht, work on both platform tracks will take place on 8 and 9 March.
Additionally, maintenance on line 122 between Melle and Zottegem will take place during the weekends of 8 to 9 and 22 to 23 March. As a result, the level crossing at Beekstraat will be temporarily closed.
SNCB has adjusted the train services due to the maintenance work. Buses will replace some trains between Gent-Sint-Pieters, Mechelen, Zottegem, and Brussels-South. Certain trains will take detours.
Travellers are advised to check the SNCB travel planner or the website for up-to-date information.
