Police in Schoten, Antwerp Province, on Thursday discovered a laboratory used to produce a synthetic drug known as flakka.
According to the Gazet van Antwerpen, the authorities have arrested three individuals.
The laboratory, located in Paalstraat, was used to manufacture desmethylpyrovalerone (α-PVP), commonly known as flakka or the zombie drug.
This synthetic drug is highly addictive.
In some parts of West Flanders, there have already been disturbances caused by users of desmethylpyrovalerone .
