The new energy supplier Ecofix Gas & Power is launching a referral programme called “friends with benefits,” offering discounts to customers who refer others, reports De Tijd on Saturday.
On Monday, Ecofix Gas & Power will begin providing electricity and gas services in Flanders. Notably, the company plans to reward customers who bring in new clients. “If you can persuade a friend, family member, or colleague to join, you receive a €5 monthly discount as long as they remain a customer,” explains CEO Yassine Hasnaoui. Referring two friends will result in an annual discount of €120.
The company has also developed an app to provide customers with insights into pricing and usage at any given time. A graph shows the most expensive hours in red, moments of negative prices in green, and intermediate hours in orange. “Those interested can receive notifications when it’s a good time to run the washing machine,” says Hasnaoui.
