Kunstenfestivaldesarts festival kick-off party, De Vaartkapoen, Friday 9 May
Brussels' annual festival dedicated to contemporary theatre, dance, performance, and visual arts since 1994 is hosting a booming opening party with both local and international artists. DJ sets and live music spotlight 3AXS, DJ Lamia, LALLA RAMI, Sarra Wild, and more. Party through the night to experimental genre blends and celebrate the diversity of Brussels.

The three-week festival aims to open dialogue between French and Flemish communities in Brussels, linking cultural partners and local associations. Le Flore x Les Belges Jeunesses open air, Bois de la Cambre, Thursday 8 May
The charming red-brick cottage invites those looking to practice their moves surrounded by beautiful greenery to a free open-air set by Les Belges Jeunesses. Complete with vibey DJ music and bar with a selection of apéro snacks and drinks, the Le Flore guinguette bar showcases the stunning luscious grounds.

European Commission Europe Day, Berlaymont, Saturday 10 May
The iconic home of the European Commission welcomes the public to a day of learning and family fun to show a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of policy making in the European Union.
Presenting a programme that includes a singing tour of Europe, Tyrolean Orchestra music, a flag throwing performance, and more, visitors are invited to discover how the Commission functions to build a "democratic, social, prosperous, and sustainable" union.

Out and about
Moomin Parade, Square Ambiorix, Saturday 10 May
In collaboration with the European Citizens Corner, the Moomin Parade honours 80 years of the lovable Finnish creatures in the city's European Quarter, starting in the monumental Ambiorix Park.
A family-friendly day organised by two Finnish women, Lili Wagner-Andrianne and Irene Mäkelä-Brunnekreef, the procession includes live Moomin characters, live music, book readings, and activities for children.
