The lifeless body of a 39-year-old woman was discovered on Tuesday in Tielt, West Flanders, according to the Office of the Public Prosecutor (OPP) in Bruges, which indicated that the death is being treated as suspicious.
The woman’s body was found at her home in Schuiferskapelle, a district within the Tielt municipality. The circumstances of her death remain unclear.
A forensic doctor was called to assist, and the police scientific laboratory was dispatched to the site.
The woman’s partner will be questioned by the police, the OPP added.
