No trains will run between the Flemish cities of Bruges and Ostend on the weekend of 17 and 18 May due to work on signalling and level crossings on the line, announced rail network operator Infrabel on Thursday.
Two kilometres of overhead lines will also be replaced between Zandvoorde and Ostend, and maintenance work will be carried out on several points in the same area.
The bridge over the Plassendale-Nieuport canal will also undergo maintenance work.
Replacement buses will be available to passengers, who will be able to use them upon showing their ticket.
The changes can be seen on national railway operator SNCB/NMBS' journey planner.
