The Liège Correctional Court on Friday sentenced a 33-year-old resident of Banneux to two years’ imprisonment, suspended on probation, and a suspended fine of €8,000 for committing acts of possession and dissemination of images of sexual assaults on minors.
The accused committed the offences over a period of 10 years and had the particularity of enjoying sexual role-playing disguised as a baby.
The National Centre for Missing & Exploited Children, a US organisation, had twice caught the defendant broadcasting videos showing young girls being sexually assaulted.
A search of his home confirmed the broadcast of extreme images of sexual assaults on minors, as well as images of the defendant dressed as a baby in nappies.
The defendant had admitted to being attracted to nappy fetishism, a paraphilia involving role-playing in which adults derive sexual pleasure from adopting the role of babies and wearing nappies.
The court found the facts established. It sentenced the defendant to two years’ imprisonment and a fine of €8,000, both suspended on probation.
