On Saturday morning, cloud cover will increase from the west, leading to light to occasionally moderate rain, according to the Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI).
Initially, the eastern part of the country may experience clear skies and dry weather. By the afternoon, drier conditions and brief clearings are expected in the west. Temperatures will range from 16°C to 17°C in the west and between 12°C and 15°C elsewhere. A south-westerly wind will be moderate inland and fairly strong along the coast, with gusts up to 50 km/h.
On Saturday evening, the sky will remain predominantly cloudy, though dry weather is expected temporarily, except in the east where light showers might occur. Overnight, new rainfall is forecast to spread from the west, quickly affecting the entire country. Mild minimum temperatures will range between 11°C and 14°C. The wind will be moderate, and quite strong at the coast, coming from the southwest.
On Sunday morning, expect very cloudy skies and rain across all regions. By the afternoon, rain will move towards Germany, followed by showers in the eastern half of the country, while the western half becomes drier with more clear spells. Highs will be around 13°C or 14°C in the Ardennes, 18°C at the coast, and 19°C or 20°C in central areas.
The moderate south-westerly wind in the morning will shift to a west-southwesterly direction by the afternoon, becoming moderate to quite strong. Gusts could reach 50 km/h inland and 60 km/h at the coast.
