Russia and Ukraine have conducted another prisoner exchange with 307 Russian soldiers traded for an equal number of Ukrainian military personnel, as Russian Ministry of Defence claimed on Saturday, confirmed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

On Friday, 390 prisoners were already exchanged.  On 16 May, Kyiv and Moscow agreed in Istanbul, Turkey, to exchange 1,000 prisoners on each side.

The Russian Ministry of Defence reports that the repatriated Russian soldiers are currently in Belarus, where they are receiving “medical and psychological support.”

“A major prisoner swap was just completed between Russia and Ukraine. It will go into effect shortly. Congratulations to both sides on this negotiation. This could lead to something big???” wrote Trump on Truth Social commenting on the matter on Friday.
