More than 1,000 walkers have raised a total of €453,425 in the third spring edition of the Oxfam Trailwalker, as announced by Oxfam. Oxfam Trailwalker is a multi-day fundraising and team-building event
The funds collected will support international solidarity initiatives combating inequality.
On Friday, 172 teams started the 100-kilometre route through the Ardennes in the forest of Saint-Hubert, in the province of Luxembourg, aiming to complete it within 30 hours.
The fastest team completed the course in just 19 hours and 7 minutes.
Additionally, 40 teams participated in the shorter 25-kilometre version.
The quickest time for this distance was set by the National Lottery team, finishing in 5 hours and 6 minutes.
