Over 500 kilos of cocaine intercepted at Port of Antwerp

Customs officials seized a major shipment of drugs at the Port of Antwerp on Tuesday, as reported by the Ministry of Finance.

A total of 504 kilograms of cocaine was discovered.

The drugs were hidden within a shipment of coffee in a container from Nicaragua, which had arrived at Quay 730.

Customs are currently in the process of destroying the cocaine.

An investigation has been launched to identify those responsible for the trafficking.
