Around 50 people were involved in a physical altercation in Forrières, Nassogne, on the night from Saturday to Sunday, according to the Famenne-Ardenne police zone, confirming reports from several media outlets.

The brawl erupted at the Pentecost dance around 2:00, initially involving about ten individuals, but quickly escalating as another forty people joined.

Approximately ten police officers from the Famenne-Ardenne, Semois-et-Lesse, and Lesse-et-Lomme zones intervened. Several individuals were detained and taken into custody. The police noted that the investigation is ongoing and that those injured by knife did not require hospitalisation.

Access to the marquee where the brawl occurred has been prohibited, and the third evening of the dance planned for Sunday night is cancelled. However, festivities continue outdoors alongside the traditional parade, which remains on schedule.
