An explosion occurred at around 00:30 between Friday night and Saturday morning at the front door of a house on Te Couwelaarlei in the Antwerp district of Deurne, confirmed by Antwerp police.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the explosion. Previously similar incidents occurred on many occasions in the district, related to drug crime.
The forensic lab and the bomb disposal unit, DOVO, have attended the scene. No suspects have been arrested yet.
