A 70-year-old man has passed away after sustaining severe injuries from a collision with an STIB bus in Brussels on Tuesday afternoon, reports Bruzz, and the Brussels Public Prosecutor’s Office confirms the news.
The accident occurred on Tuesday around 17:00 on Rue Emile Delva in Brussels, where a bus hit a pedestrian under still unclear circumstances.
"The victim, a man born in 1955, was seriously injured and taken to hospital," the prosecutor’s office stated on Thursday.
"He succumbed to his injuries this morning. A traffic expert has been appointed to determine the precise circumstances of the accident. In the interest of the investigation and out of respect for the victim’s family, no further comments will be provided by the office."
