The Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (Afsca) announced on Thursday the withdrawal of Nestlé’s Baby Cereals biscuits from sale due to the presence of gluten-containing cereals, posing a potential risk for those with allergies.

The presence of gluten was reported to Afsca via a notification from the European Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF).

Parents are advised not to give this product to children with cereal allergies and to return it to the point of purchase.

The Federal Agency clarified that the product is safe for consumption by individuals without allergies.

Affected products are packaged in 250-gram cardboard boxes and have expiration dates between 30th April and 30th November 2026.
