The supermarket chain Aldi announced a recall of its “Artisan Ham” product under the Délifin brand on Wednesday due to potential salmonella contamination.
The affected product is packaged in sets of four slices and was sold between 18 and 25 June, with an expiry date of 7 July 2025. The product codes are ANC 27067765 and GTIN 4068261077823.
Aldi has advised customers not to consume the ham and to return it to the store for a refund.
Possible symptoms of salmonella infection include fever, abdominal cramps, and diarrhoea occurring 12 to 48 hours after consuming the contaminated food.
