Inflation in Belgium rose to 2.15% in June from 2.01% in May, marking the first increase in five months, according to the Belgian statistics office, Statbel.
Despite the rise, inflation remains lower than its April level of 2.55%.
Based on the health index, inflation remains stable at 2.37%. The smoothed health index reached 132.36 points in June.
Core inflation, which excludes the prices of energy products and unprocessed foods, increased to 2.63% in June from 2.59% in the previous month.
