The metro service on lines 2 and 6 has been restored between Trône and Brussels-Midi Station, STIB/MIVB spokesperson, Laurent Vermeersch, told The Brussels Times.
The service between the two stops was interrupted on Thursday just before 13:00, after a body of a male was found between the station Porte de Hal and Hotel des Monnaies. It is currently unclear what are the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
The metro services were disrupted for several hours until the investigation into the incident was concluded.
