Aldi stores, in agreement with the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (Afsca), have decided to withdraw 750g packs of Daylicious fresh chips from sale due to the presence of the allergen sulphite, which is not listed on the label.
Individuals with an allergy or intolerance to sulphites are advised not to consume the product and can return it to the store where it was purchased.
The product is safe for consumption by those without such allergies or intolerances.
The affected product bears the lot number L0711 and a use-by date of 30 July 2025. It was sold between 11 and 25 July.
